EVALUATING THE IMPACT OF FUTURE STUDIES ON ORGANIZATIONAL STRATEGIC INTELLIGENCE

Abstract

Futuristic science is a new science that involves a systematic and explicit way of thinking about the future, is based on special assumptions and uses specific values and theories in its intellectual system. The goal of foresight is to identify areas of strategic research and new technologies. In addition, strategic intelligence, like a search engine, discovers new opportunities and warns of threats, which in turn contributes to future research. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact of future research on organisational strategic intelligence in the water and sewage organisation. The current research is descriptive in terms of data collection method and practical in terms of purpose. The library-field method was also used to collect the relevant information in the form of a questionnaire. According to the purpose of the research and the topic, this research includes a sample of the experts of the Water and Sewerage Organisation of West Azerbaijan Province. The Delphi method was used to identify the future drivers of the strategic intelligence of the organisation. The data obtained from the questionnaires were analysed using MicMac software. Finally, the results showed that the negligence of officials, indiscriminate and non-mechanised use of agriculture, climate change, culture of correct use of resources and population growth were identified as important and influential factors.
