Babaların Dil ve Konuşma Bozukluklarına Yönelik Bilgi Düzeylerinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Babalar, çocukların dil ve konuşma gelişimlerinde önemli rol oynamaktadır. Babaların, çocukların dil ve konuşma gelişimlerine etkisi bu derece büyük iken babaların çocuklarının dil ve konuşma güçlüğü yaşayıp yaşamadığını anlamalarına yönelik herhangi bir araştırmaya rastlanmamıştır. Bu önem kapsamında, babaların dil ve konuşma bozuklukları hakkında bilgi düzeylerinin ve tutumlarının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır.

Although fathers have an important role in the speech and language development of children, it has been observed that fathers’ knowledge levels about language and speech disorders are not sufficient. It is thought that the reason why fathers who received therapy from a speech and language therapist did not make a significant difference compared to fathers who did not receive therapy is related to the low participation of fathers in therapy processes. For this reason, it is thought that fathers’ knowledge levels and awareness about speech and language therapy should be increased. It is thought that this research can be conducted again with more participants.
